Sivex Oy:n toimitusjohtajalla Monika Põldkivilla oli kunnia toimia työelämän edustajana koulun päättäjäisjuhlassa ja pitää puhe valmistuville opiskelijoille. Koska koulutus toteutettiin englanniksi, myös puhe pidettiin englannin kielellä.

Dear audience,

I would like to start by telling you a little about us. We are Sivex Oy, a cleaning services company working to ensure cleanliness in homes, offices, and stairwells. But our company is not just a service provider – it is a place where people can grow, develop, and achieve their full potential.

This is exactly why we want to support education and learning. We don’t support it just for the sake of certificates, but because we want people to grow – both as individuals and as professionals. We strongly believe that when a person develops, succeeds, and grows, the company grows and succeeds as well.

We are extremely proud that our employees have such a strong desire to learn and improve. Every certificate, every completed course or credit is a sign to us that you want to be better. It shows commitment to your work, your future, and a desire to do your job even better.

Education secures the future. I have been in the workforce long enough to witness many ups and downs. I’ve noticed that when times get tough, it’s the skilled people who stand out – those who do their work well. Customers notice it, even if the company doesn’t always show it. Professional skills are an asset that no one can take away from you.

I also want to talk about the future. We operate in the cleaning industry, but we see change coming – in the form of artificial intelligence and technology. Yes, AI is already here, but for now it does not replace humans. A person who keeps themselves up to date and develops according to the demands of the workforce is irreplaceable.

So don’t stay in your comfort zone. Learn, try new things, ask questions. In the future, we might see a robot coming to clean floors… but someone will still have to press the buttons, install, maintain, and monitor it. And who knows – maybe that robot will even get its own TikTok account and try to teach us dance moves while cleaning! One thing is certain: machines cannot replace human creativity, responsibility, or the desire to grow.

In our field, work is above all about people. Customers notice the quality of work, recognize professionalism, and appreciate it. Learning and developing your skills is not only an investment in your future but also an investment in the company’s and customers’ success.

Finally, I want to say to all of you: be proud of every step you take in your learning journey. Don’t fear mistakes – they are part of learning. Be curious, ask questions, try new things, and grow. At Sivex, we promise to support you because we know that when you succeed, we succeed together.

Remember, the future is not just technology or robots. The future is you – those who dare to grow, develop, and learn. Your determination and passion for learning are what will take both you and the company toward success.

And before I finish, I want to extend a huge thank you to the teachers and trainers. Without your dedication, patience, and passion for teaching, we would not have these wonderful employees who want to grow and learn.
